Burberry Menswear S/S 15

Christopher Bailey presented another truly English collection for Burberry. Bailey's main inspiration was the work of Bruce Chatwin; poet, writer and explorer. Chatwin was quintessentially British and 'struggled to move to other places' because he loved Britain so much. However, Chatwin brought a sense of freedom and adventure to his life, this was mirrored in the clothes; the large satchels, scarves or heritage trenches each printed with the words 'adventure' and 'exploration'. As the pieces flowed down the runway, there was that sense of freedom and adventure in every movement, but also effortlessness; from the excessive trend of trainers and the mixture of neutral and technicolours, which gave the collection a little boost of modernity yet playfulness.

Moschino Menswear S/S 15

LCM (London collections men) started last week, bringing all the new spring/summer trends to the runways.

We saw Jeremy Scott's menswear debut for Moschino, which was much anticipated from the womenswear show containing the ambiguous food label prints, McDonald's inspired bags and suits, Sponge Bob dresses and some edgy hipster Moschino bling. And did Scott deliver, it was a sensational menswear collection, full of Scott's own interpretations of Chanel and Louis Vuitton's iconic monogrammed prints transferred onto denim and boiler suits, Coca-Cola logos and the urban Scott bling, from the netted-mesh vests to the dollar sign suits with yellow tails. It was definitely a parody of pop art, seen in bold colours and an OTT trend of faux overpoweringthe collection, however it had a strong sense of luxurious playfulness. I am so excited to see how the house of Moschino will turn out under the control of Jeremy Scott.

Cara, Suki and Malaika for Burberry

This season's Burberry campaign, stars the young fresh-faced British beauties from Cara Delevingne, Suki Waterhouse and Malaika Firth. 

Cara has been the face of Burberry since S/S 11, that is 8 whole seasons! She shocks me every season I see her. Suki is new to the Burberry family, she was the star of the Burberry Brit-Rhythm fragrance and did her first show for the brand last season. Malaika Firth is one of the new faces for S/S, she walked 60 runways for spring/summer and her debut seemed to make a dramatic impact on some of the designers. She is now a model in demand.

The collection was inspired by the Bloomsbury group; the hand-painted shoes and bags, the ponchos and the floral prints. Also there are, of course the heritage trench coats and hallmark scarves. 

The campaign itself is very artistically done, shot by Mario Testino; the legend, featuring a sense of naturility and classic Burberry mixed with a fresh youthfulness. Love it!

Fashion frenzy of the week

1. Cara Delevingne & Jourdan Dunn. At the Stella Mccartney Resort 2015 presentation, both wearing matching Stella Mccartney jumpsuits. They both look so effortlessly chic combined with the Rihanna hipster trend.

2. Rihanna. At her launch of her fragrance Rogue in Paris, wearing Balmain F/W 2014. Now a queen of style; in my eyes she cannot faulter. She is breathtaking in whatever she wears, be it leather cargo pants and a chained bondage styled top.

3. Beyoncé & Blake Lively. At the Chime for Change Event in Gucci. They both look classically Gucci, just like the Gucci woman. Clean lines and tailoring finish this look with sophistication.

4. Lupita Nyong'o. At a polo match in Alexander Mcqueen. This girl can do no wrong, she looks phenomenal in anything. I love this Mcqueen, the structure of this dress accentuates her figure and the polka dots have trended this season, seen at Burberry Prorsum.

The Kimye Wedding Part 3- The Palace of Versailles Ball

Yes that's right, the couple celebrated the night before the wedding; only by inviting 600 guests for a lavish, really over the top party in the Hall of Mirrors. 

We know Kanye paid Lana Del Rey $2mill to perform for Kim her favourite song, Young and Beautiful at the event. They had a dinner, $2000 a plate and $800 bottles of champagne, serving quintessentially french food, caviar at an extreme price range. They also had fireworks. 

Now, at a conventional wedding, it would be short and sweet. On the other hand at a Kardashian wedding, we have mass of people travelling around Europe for a week, going to brunches, pre-nuptial parties, private jetting around. There is no wonder the cost summed up to around $32million. However I love a bit of over the top, especially if the Kardashian KLAN are involved!

Onto la mode. We saw yet another array of gorge gowns. 

Kim going for another clevagetastic number; you can tell she was enjoying the last day of freedom before the wedding, wearing a Maison Martin Margiela silk skirt with a blazer covering the chest and Tom Ford chained shoes. I cannot critique this; she looks simply divine.

We love a bit of Khloe, she looks so good now. She has really transformed herself since the divorce of her and Lamar Odom. She seems to be channelling Kim's clevage trend here. I love the dress, loving the shimmer aswell.

Kendall went for a navy blue flowing gown, my guess is Topshop Unique.
