Today we celebrate the birthday of one of the most influential American fashion designers to date, Marc Jacobs. For it was he who re-invented the house of Vuitton, created an internationally successful brand of his own, discovered the British beauties of today, (Edie Campbell and Lily Mcmenamy) and who we wished had continued as designer at LV.
