Emilio Pucci's Nomadic Nights

There was a definite bohemian feel running through the collection at Emilio Pucci this season. Peter Dundas (creative director of Pucci) went back to the archives and pulled out some playful Pucci colours and that all important texture factor. We saw fabrics seeped in copious amounts of the finest dyed fur; from beaver lined parkas to knee-high deer skin boots, belted fringed ponchos on top of leather trousers, the list was endless. One piece that stood out for me was what looked like a poison apple red velvet suit paired with a gorgeous silky apricot blouse. The final 2 pieces, exquisite jewel-embellished chiffon gowns with the most intriguing gold details which shimmered under the light, resembled a Sicilian Goddess.
The collection was truly magical.
