The fashion no-nos for men

Listen up men,

I am here today to warn you about what is not hot in the world of fashion and hopefully convince you to re-think your perceptions of these so called fashions. Firstly, let me apologise in advance if I do offend you because you happen to own one of the fashions or take a liking to them, I am so very sorry if this is the case.
No matter how stylishly challenged you are, there are some things which should be wiped from the wardrobes, banished from the stores and put into a deep, dark hole full of Cuban heels and sovereign rings. Urgh how atrocious.
So here is my list of fashions to be avoided:

1. Socks and sandals or worst...., CROCS WITH SOCKS

-This has to be one the biggest fashion faux pas of the modern day. This concept baffles me in every way possible. Let's face it, Crocs are already ruined in whatever way you aspire to wear them, it is simply a no. Sandals though?! You would choose to destroy a perfectly satisfactory look by adding socks; what is the motive behind that? If you suffer with a phobia of feet, wear a shoe or at least something that covers the entire foot, do not wear a sandal and a cotton sock over it. It is a summer look juxtaposed with a winter look and overall, a look that ceases my understanding.

2. Acid-wash denim

-What happened to the classic blue or black denim? Why are we throwing bleach on them and trying to put a modern spin on an timeless item, it just does not work. Do not even get me started on the way we attempt to pair a denim shirt or jacket with another type of 'washed' denim, it sends your mind into the unknown. Remember; double denim is risky but different washes of double denim is pretty much playing death.

3. Bandanas

-These have suddenly come back to our lives, however not in the way we expected. I blame Harry Styles, for now we are using them as hair accessories. Their popularity is so over the top that everyone has got one, even if you have short hair with no hair to keep away from your faces, you still buy one in order to remain as reem as possible. This bandana wave is very S-Club7esque, but if that reminds you of simple, happier time, then aw.

4. The Mullet

-Sorry for the diversion, but we had to mention this hairstyle. People who favour the mullet are, without a doubt, a fan of George Michael, they just cannot admit it. Back to the point; if you want to grow your hair, then grow all of it long, do not leave a part of it long and cut the rest or worst dye your hair in different coloured sections. It is cringey to say the least.

5. The deep V-neck

-It is one thing to wear a v-neck, but to parade your 'man clevage' around, left, right and centre is quite another; just put it away. Thank-you.

6. Pointy shoes

-I know you like these, they make you feel powerful and chic, if worn properly, of course. However, some I detest, as they verge on ridiculous; I am sorry but are we in The Lord Of The Rings? Also do you wish to obtain bunions from these incredibly pointy shoes, I think you would say not.
Something else springs to my mind while we are on the topic of shoes; the idea of wearing white socks with black shoes. --Men, if you have actually read this far, just stop one second and think, think of some reasons why this combination is so unacceptable and I know there will be some who say nothing is wrong. Well a conclusion can be made right now about that.-- it is quite simple, white socks are for sporting use ONLY. Some of you fashion-forward beings may think monochrome, (clever thinking, eh), however, it is a definite no if it involves your feet.
